Nicole Scherzinger Talks Lewis, Kids & Chris Brown

Nicole Scherzinger has addressed her romance with Lewis Hamilton, revealing that her relationship with the F1 star 'keeps her grounded.'

Speaking to the December issue of Marie Claire magazine about Hamilton, Nicole said: "Yeah, [the relationship] does keep me grounded.

"Lewis and I are a team and were really there for each other, and the time we spend together I do cherish. Its separate from everything else."

She went on to dismiss the idea of being a 'celebrity couple' like Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, stating: "I know there are a lot of relationships who, you know Take Kanye and Kim [West and Kardashian] well, theyre perfect for the cameras. Lewis and I are a bit more subdued."

The X Factor judge also claimed that despite being loved-up with Lewis - she doesn't plan on starting a family with him just yet.

Nicole explained: "Im not getting any younger. I dont want to have kids now, though. When Im a mum, Im not going t! o be one of those mums who has nannies. Actually, I might have nannies never say never but Im not having someone else raise my kids.

"I think five years might be a good time to look at having children, but I think whenever its meant to happen is when it will happen. Right now, Im focussing on my career."

When asked if she sees her age as an issue, Scherzinger replied: "I see lots of women having beautiful children later in life now. And, if not, just freeze your eggs!"

The former Pussycat Dolls star also went on to speak about her friendship with Chris Brown - following reports earlier this year that they were seen kissing in an Los Angeles nightclub.

She explained: "I went to a club with my friend, Will.I.Am, and talked to my friend, Chris. They got those pictures and now everyone thinks one thing and its not the truth. It makes you feel like you cant do anything.

"Ive known Chris since he started in the business. Hes like a little brother [to me]. Hes one of the most tal! ented peo! ple in the industry."

Scherzinger then refused to answer further questions regarding the public perception of Breezy following his 2009 assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna, concluding: "I honestly just dont want to address the Chris thing, if thats alright."
