Nicole Scherzinger Rushes To Be With her Family Following Grandmother's Death
WENNNicole Scherzinger has been forced to leave her X Factor boys, as she jets out of the UK following the sad news that her grandmother passed away at the weekend.
The X Factor judge was snapped at a London airport with her boyfriend Lewis Hamilton yesterday afternoon. Whilst initial reports suggested the loved-up pair were off on a romantic break The Mirror is now reporting that Nic and Lewis have flown to the US to be with the singer's family.
According to the paper, Nicole's grandmother died on Saturday morning, meaning the US star must have found out just hours before taking her seat for that evening's live show.
Nicole was pictured in an all black outfit, hiding behind sunglasses as she headed home for the funeral with Lewis yesterday. The singer and her beau both looked solemn in the photos as they wheeled a trolley full of luggage through the airport.
It's thought that Nicole will only be able to stay at home for a couple of days and she is expected to return on Wednesday or Thursday in time for this weekend's X Factor shows.
Lewis meanwhile is likely to stay on in the US for his F1 race in Texas on Saturday.
