Nicole Scherzinger Admits She's 'Scared' Of Driving In The UK
WENNNicole Scherzinger may be a bona fide anglophile since decamping to Britain for the X Factor but she's admitted she still has trouble with some aspects of UK culture- namely our roads!
The X Factor judge has confessed it's been hard leaving behind her life in the US:
"I was panicking about coming over. Leaving my family, my house, my friends, my everything. I don't have a car - but thank God, as I wouldn't know how to drive it here! I was scared," she told Closer.
We're sure Nic can rely on Formula One champ Lewis Hamilton for lifts! The US singer admits that whilst her long-term relationship with Brit Lewis has helped her adjust to life over here, there are some things that get lost in translation:
"Lewis will say, 'Are you taking the Mick?'" she explained, referring to the popular Brit expression meaning is someone joking. "And I'm like, 'Who is Mick?'"
Oops! Meanwhile if Simon Cowell has his way, Nicole could be back in Blighty for the next series of The X Factor.
