Nicole Scherzinger to snub 'X Factor' return for Hollywood?

Nicole Scherzinger has admitted that she may not return to The X Factor as she wants to focus on her movie career.

The 'Boomerang' singer, who mentored winner James Arthur and runner-up Jahmene Douglas in the 2012 series, said that she is hoping to "get back into films" following her role in last year's Men in Black 3.

"It's all up in the air at the moment. I might be shooting a movie in the summer time," she told The Mirror. "I want to get back into films. I think that's what I went to school for.

"To be involved in the right film project is something I definitely want to pursue in the future. I've been reading stuff."

Scherzinger recently told Digital Spy that judging on The X Factor was her "proudest moment" of last year.

"It was great to discover new talent and the whole experience really exceeded my expectations, which was great because I really put 110% into it," she said.

"I'm excited for people to hear the music now as I had to put it on the backburner for the show. I don't even know if the judges want me back."

DS readers have voted Scherzinger as the X Factor judge they most want to return for the next series, beating veteran panelists Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos and Louis Walsh.
