WENNA snippet of Nicole Scherzinger's new single 'Boomerang' could be heard on The X Factor last night.
The track, which is slated for an early 2013 release, is the first to come from the former Pussycat Doll's second solo album.
Her first, Killer Love, hit the UK top 10 in 2011 and spawned No1 hit 'Don't Hold Your Breath', as well as Top 3 smashes 'Poison' and 'Right There'.
Yesterday during James Arthur's pre-performance VT Nicole could be seen on the video shoot for the track, with the song playing underneath it.
Music blog We Are Pop Slags has suggested that it could be produced by RedOne or Stargate.
Nicole is not believed to be performing the tune on a live episode of the talent show this year, but colleague Tulisa is plugging her new release 'Sight Of You' tonight (December 2).
