Nicole Scherzinger: 'My Catchphrases Come To Me When I'm In The Shower'
WENNWe've loved Nicole Scherzinger and her Scherzisms on this year's X Factor, the judge has come out with some right humdingers whilst seated in her judge's chair (remember the "spunk" controversy?) and now the star has revealed just how she comes up with her catchphrases...
The singer and former Pussycat Doll will no doubt get everyone a bit hot under the collar as she reveals that her best sayings and new words come to her when she's in the shower. Talking to Heat, Nic was asked where her Scherzisms come from:
"From my fantastical mind, of course," she told the magazine.
"They come to me, usually when I'm in the shower, or when I'm at home, cleaning the house. Crazy thoughts will come into my head,"
"Sometimes you just have to be in the moment."
We've rounded up some of our favourite Nic quotes ahead of tonight's semi final, here's hoping the judge will add to our list this weekend!
1. "No Baby No". Nicole has used this phrase a number of times to sum up her dislike, just add a US twang and you'll have it down.
2. "In your own spunky, honest way" was the unfortunate turn of phrase used to praise Lucy Spraggan in the early weeks of the live shows. Gary soon picked up on the word choice but despite Nic seeming lost in translation she managed to style it out.
3. "Grow some balls!" The singer gave Jahmene Douglas this crucial bit of advice when she put him through to the live shows. Since then we've seen more ball talk with Nic later praising her contestant for "growing some"...
4. "Jah-Mazing!" Another pet phrase reserved for Jahmene, a week barely goes by without this classic cropping up.
