Nicole Scherzinger on festive style

Nicole Scherzinger loves wearing "classic" red lipstick at Christmas.

The glamorous singer is famed for her flawless make-up, and usually sports smoky eyes and bold lips. Nicole has given her tips for standing out from the crowd during the festive season.

"At Christmas, I love Dior shimmer shadows and Chanel red lipstick is classic for the season," the 34-year-old star told British magazine Closer.

Nicole is aware that the build up to Christmas can be exhausting with people juggling parties, work demands and shopping for gifts.

The star relies on a few essential products to ensure she is always looking fresh faced.

"I put on eye gel if I'm tired or need a pick-me-up. Using lots of illuminator makes my skin look dewy and fresh, too," she explained.

Nicole insists the most important thing to remember during the holidays is to feel great about yourself. The brunette says people should wear clothes that give them a confidence boost.

"It's all about taking care of yourself," she added. "Love yourself and dress in clothes that make you feel good."
