They've been battling it out in the style-stakes every Saturday night for the last two months.

But Nicole Sherzinger and Tulisa embraced very different looks for their final Saturday night showdown.

While the former Pussycat Doll embraced old school Hollywood glamour in a floor-length red gown, Tulisa looked fashion forward in a bespoke, black dress.

Nicole might be busy concentrating on her two final acts, but she clearly had time to get her style just right for the final Saturday night performance show, changing into three different outfits.

The US star stepped out onto the X Factor stage in the red, sparkly Zuhair Murad dress with a pair of towering Charlotte Olympia shoes.

She wore her dark hair in soft waves and added a pair of statement, gold earrings.

Tulisa looked less elegant but more edgy in an avant-garde black dress, made especially for her by Suzanne Neville.

The London-born singer showed off her legs and a hint of cleavage in the figure-hugging dress with sheer paneling.

She added a pair of skyscraper Prada shoes and Swarovski cuffs and rings, creating a much edgier style than Nicole.

While Tulisa doesn't have any singers left in the final, Nicole jumped for joy as she found out that both of her acts made it through to tomorrow night's show.

Gary Barlow said goodbye to his acts as Christopher Maloney received the least amount of votes and left the competition.

Nicole's two remaining acts Jahmene Douglas and James Arthur battle it out on Sunday night to see who will be the overall winner.
