Scherzinger, who flew from a show in Turkey to attend the Grand Prix, wrote after the incident: "We love and support you to the end babe...@LewisHamilton."
Hamilton himself also addressed the crash on Twitter, accepting: "Sometimes, bad days are there to remind us that we have good ones to look forward to. So here's to Monza! Onto the next one..."
The 27-year-old previously posted a photo of the couple on their way to the race and wrote in another message directed at Scherzinger: "You could be anywhere else in the world but your here with me. I love you for that. Bless."

Scherzinger reportedly requested that filming of the Judges' Houses stage of this year's X Factor be delayed so she could see Hamilton race this weekend.
She is believed to have spent the majority of her 750,000 fee for the show travelling to see Hamilton.
