Nicole Scherzinger to buy London home to be closer to Lewis Hamilton
The Pussycat Dolls singer has reportedly been looking at properties in the capital while working on The X Factor over the summer - and now has her eye on a place in Regent's Park close to the hotel where Formula 1 driver Hamilton partied with 10 girls in July.
'Nicole decided to look for a house soon after she began working on The X Factor,' a source told the Mirror.
'She loves London and wants a home here. It's much nearer to Lewis, who has a home in Monaco. It means she will be able to spend much more time with him.
'She also hopes that being in the UK will put her in pole position for Simon Cowell to take her on for next year's series.
The source added that Nicole - who also looked at a property in Hampstead - would keep her Los Angeles base, but that a London home would enable her to spend more time with Hamilton.
Although she was left fuming after he took 10 girls back to his penthouse suite at the Mayfair Hotel over the summer, she has since spoken out about their five-year relationship, calling it a 'work in progress'.
Nicole will learn on Sunday's X Factor which of the four categories she will be mentoring - although she has already been widely reported to be looking after the boys.
The show will move to the judges' houses stage next weekend, when she will be joined by rapper Ne Yo in Dubai.
