Nicole Scherzinger Says She 'Pays No Mind' To Chris Brown Dating Rumours
Lia Toby/WENN.comNicole Scherzinger has spoken out on the rumours surrounding her relationship with Chris Brown, saying she pays no mind to the speculation.
The X Factor judge attended the Pride of Britain awards last night in London and was quizzed on the red carpet about recent rumours that she is secretly dating singer Chris after photos emerged of them supposedly cosying up in a nightclub.
Nicole, who is currently dating Formula One racer Lewis Hamilton, says she doesn't allow the rumours surrounding her love life affect her, but understands it comes as part of her job.
"It's a part of me and you've just got to pay no mind to it," Nicole told ITN.
"The press does not define you. You know who you are deep inside."
Trying to avoid the subject, Nicole then changed the subject to her X Factor contestants, adding: "My boys just have to stay strong, they can learn a lot from the people getting awards tonight."
Last week, Nicole assured people that she and Chris are just friends and has known him since he was a teenager.
"Chris Brown and I are definitely just mates - I have known him since he was younger than 16. We were just talking. Even my mum said, 'I saw a picture of you'," Nicole told The Sun.
