Nicole Scherzinger: 'I Wasn't Fired From X Factor USA'

Nicole Scherzinger has insisted that she was NOT axed from The X Factor USA - and claimed that her new job on the UK version of the show proves it.

Metro newspaper quotes her as saying: "I was only ever going to do one season. I didn't get the boot, that's why Simon brought me here. He is very supportive and I love The X Factor."

But the former Pussycat Dolls star hinted that her new position on the UK judging panel alongside Gary Barlow, Tulisa and Louis Walsh was far from secure.

She said: "Who knows? Maybe they'll kick me out. I won't do anything differently. I'll be honest, speak from my heart and work really hard like I did last year."
