She managed to make a terrible first impression as the newly announced permanent fourth judge on the X Factor when she tripped up at auditions in Newcastle, but while that was a bit of fun, Simon Cowell has seriously warned Nicole Scherzinger that she cant disappoint on the show.
The former Pussycat Doll was sacked after one season on the US version of the X Factor along with Paula Abdul and according to Star Magazine she has been told in no uncertain terms that she needs to impress as this will be her last chance to be a talent judge.
Simon is taking a big risk bringing Nicole back,' a source told the magazine. 'After all she didn't work out on the US show.
The source did go onto say that Scherzinger is better suited to the UK show after successfully being a stand in judge a couple of years ago.
She gets on well with the other judges and - as she always likes to remind Simon - it was her that helped find One Direction.
Scherzingers first audition appearance could have gone better as following her trip she was also booed when clashing with Gary Barlow over some of the contestants.
