The X Factor USA judge remained in touch with Hamiltons family over Christmas.
A source claimed that the race aces family loves Scherzinger dearly and still very much see her as their daughter-in-law.
Nicole is so dear to the family. They still very much see her as their daughter-in-law, the Daily Mail quoted the source as saying.
Those close bonds dont disappear overnight.
Theyve been in touch over Christmas to catch up and wish each other well.
Theyve built such a bond with her over the years. Everyone is secretly hoping that Lewis and Nicole will give their love another go when the time is right for them, the source added.
The 34-year-old is particularly close to Lewis brother Nic with whom she bonded while supporting Lewis all over the world as well as father Anthony and stepmother Linda. (ANI)
