Nicole Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton's family back in touch over Christmas hoping for a reconcilliation

But it looks like gorgeous Nicole Scherzinger is back in pole position with his family at least.
I can reveal that the X Factor USA judge kept in touch with the race aces beloved rellies over Christmas.
And they still think the world of Nicole, especially after she confessed to me: I still love Lewis.
A source tells me: Nicole is so dear to the family. They still very much see her as their daughter-in-law.
Those close bonds dont disappear overnight.
Theyve been in touch over Christmas to catch up and wish each other well.
Theyve built such a bond with her over the years. Everyone is secretly hoping that Lewis and Nicole will give their love another go when the time is right for them.
Nicole, 34, is particularly close to Lewis brother Nic who shes bonded with while supp! orting L ewis all over the world as well as father Anthony and stepmother Linda.
Her world fell apart when they split in October after four years together, because transatlantic work schedules kept them apart and he was not ready to settle down and start a family.
Now Nicole has opened up about her relationship with Lewis, who shed hoped to have beautiful angel babies with, confessing: I still love Lewis. Although she is leaving the door open on her relationship status, feelings are still raw. Its all very recent, she adds. And its hard for me to talk about it. But we are good friends. In fact, were great friends.
Fans were hoping for a reconciliation between her and Lewis, 26, after they were pictured embracing just weeks after announcing their split.
But for now, their priorities are work.
Nicole says: Right now, hes got to focus on his career and Ive got to focus on mine. Were just very good friends.
After her roller coaster year, she has declared that 2012 will be about finally making time for herself. She kicks off her first major solo tour in the UK in February and also releases her album, Killer Love, in the States.
She says: Next year Ill work on me. Its a new chapter. Ive got a new journey Im going on.
Its amazing. I feel like its still just the beginning.
