Nicole Scherzinger Would 'Love' To Return To The X Factor USA

If there was a gold medal for dropping hints, then Nicole Scherzinger would most definitely win it after she revealed that she would "love" to return to the X Factor USA next year.

Asked by fans during a Ustream chat whether or not she'd like to be a judge on the show for the second year running, Digital Spy reports the star, who controversially replaced Cheryl Cole on the panel, replying:

"If they'll have me back! It will be difficult always to juggle... My album is coming out next year and then I'll go on tour in Europe (so I'll be) juggling both. I would love to be back. The biggest reason I wanted to be part of the show is to mentor and work with other artists, that's what excites me and makes me happy."

Josh Krajcik, who is currently being mentored by the star on the show, had nothing but praise for the former Pussycat Doll, saying: "Nicole is one of the hardest working people I have ever met. If she's not here working with me she's off working in Europe or in the studio. It's one of the things I admire about her.

"If she comes back she'll be able to handle it for sure, no matter what she's up to."
