Nicole Scherzinger gets marriage proposal during 'X Factor' taping?
According to TMZ, the 'Don't Hold Your Breath' singer was approached by a man who got down on one knee while she was sitting at the judges' table.
The website reports that the man was later escorted from the building by security.
Scherzinger didn't reference the alleged incident on her Twitter account when she shared her thoughts on this week's results show with followers.
The former Pussycat Doll said goodbye to one of her own acts, LeRoy Bell, in Wednesday night's double elimination, leaving Josh Krajcik as the sole remaining contestant in her Over 30s category.
Bell had to sing for survival against Marcus Canty but the results went to deadlock when th! e judges failed to reach a majority verdict on who should go home. Bell was eventually eliminated when it was revealed he had received fewer public votes than Canty.
Scherzinger wrote on Twitter: "@LeRoyBell I will miss your spirit and talent. You are such an inspiration! (sic)."
She also gave a shout-out to pop country group Lakoda Rayne who were sent home earlier in the evening when it was revealed they had polled the lowest public votes out of all the Top 9 acts.
"I adore @LakodaRayne and I'm sad to see them go. They are beautiful and classy."
X Factor's remaining seven acts will face another double elimination next week when the show returns to its regular timeslot of Wednesday and Thursday at 8/7c on Fox.
The acts still in the running for the record-breaking $5 million contract are: Astro, Chris Rene, Marcus Canty, Drew Ryniewicz, Melanie Amaro, Rachel Crow and Josh Krajcik.
