Nicole Scherzinger on being British at heart and her hairy legs secret
Battling our way through the paparazzi outside a luxurious West End hotel, we eventually find Nicole Scherzinger inside looking tiny, a little tired but impossibly glamorous.
A pair of killer patent heels and some colossal hair vie for attention on either ends of her body!
She comments in her delicate accent which sounds much more Southern than when she schamazed and scherzinged on The X Factor that she owns our necklace.
Bearing in mind its a Topshop number, we guess Nicoles not always label lover. "Im a sensible girl," she admits.
"I come from humble beginnings so my nature is to make sure my family has a good home and I take care of things. Coming from no money you dont spend what you dont have," she added.
Theres no doubt shed have it in bucketloads now after a impressive career with the Pussycat Dolls and a second solo album, heavily influenced by master mogul Will.i.am, out later this year.

The British public have taken you to their hearts and are almost claiming you to be their own, Nicole!
British at heart, is how I say it. In Hawaii, we say Hawaiian at heart.
In what ways has your time spent over here influenced your music?
My Killer Love album was really geared for my UK and European fans. Boomerangs messag! e was important not only personally but also with my role on X Factor being about positivity and bouncing back even stronger. Thats what Im about.
There are lots of female solo artists in the charts. Is your competitive streak part of the reason youre so successful?
Absolutely. Competitive in the right way and not a destructive way, I hope. Im most competitive with myself.
Are you a perfectionist?
I am. Not as much as I used to be but Im pretty hardcore, thats for sure.
As an American in the UK, are you a fan of our royals?
I havent met them but if I did Im sure Id be head over heels fawning at them. I dont really know much about it. I dont really know what they do. I guess they travel a lot and get their picture taken.
Its weird because the media over-saturates things. Theres not even much mystique to them. [Asks PR] What are their names? [PR: William and Kate?] Theyre like Brad and Ange, right? I miss that mystique in the industry.
Who wants to see what Harrys getting up to in Vegas? I dont! Hes a little prince in my eyes lets keep him that way.
Theres an immense pressure on the women in the media to look good do you feel it?
It sucks because theres a lot of scrutiny but as long as you take care of yourself and get rest, theres nothing that a nice lip gloss and pair of sunnies couldnt fix if you get papped.
You cant always be on thats just not normal. But people dont want to see that. I think they appreciate it when theyre like: Shes chilling. Shes got her hair in a bun and shes just like me.
Have you ever felt youve been scrutinised unfairly in photographs?
If I have I dont pay any attention. Im sure I have
Do you avoid the Internet for that reason?
Yea! h Im very! sensitive. I get upset and I know its inevitable so I stay away and try to keep it all positive. People are going to write what they want but Im not the only one theyre like that with everybody.
Were you popular with the boys at school?
No, not really. Everyone made fun of me because I was the last to kiss a boy. I was always real shy and came from a real strict Catholic family. I was conservative and didnt put myself out there for that. People knew and teased me for that.
Did you not realise you were attractive?
No, you grow into it. I came from a conservative background, I didnt wear lots of make-up at a young age. My mum made me have hairy freaking legs forever! She didnt let me shave, it was so embarrassing.
I said: Im not going to do this to my kid, but I probably will do the same thing to my kid!
Your latest single Boomerang is a very catchy number will there be an album to follow?
Theres no date yet but hopefully later this year. I figured if I didnt release it during X Factor then whats the rush? I want to make sure I get it right.
You say youre a sensible saver when it comes to your cash. Do you get the guilt when you do spend?
Not really because I over-think everything so Ill stare at the purse for a long time, walk away from it, stare at it more, leave the store then come back.
Your latest project is fronting Mllers new De Luxe desserts range
I love to indulge myself and I love, love, love desserts, everybody knows I do. And I love that its affordable and cost-conscious as well. We can speak to real women through this yoghurt. I think of myself as a real woman and it makes me happy to think I can get that across to people in this way.
