Nicole Scherzinger stars in sexy London Fog ad campaign

Nicole Scherzinger didn't waste any time launching a comeback following her departure as judge of "The X Factor" earlier in the week.

The former Pussycat Doll's ad campaign for London Fog debuted on Wednesday, featu! ring Sch erzinger wearing the company's classic trench coats, with little else.

The ads will officially hit magazines in the spring and show the singer posing provocatively in black and nude trench coats.

London Fog products, which include coats, handbags, footwear, luggage, are sold in many department stores in the United States.

It was announced in October that Scherzinger would be the new face of the company. Christina Hendrix of "Mad Men" starred in a 2010 campaign for the company, which has also featured the likes of Gisele B?dchen and Eva Longoria, with her now ex-husband Tony Parker.

London Fog is a product of Iconix Brand Group, the parent company of brands such as Badgley Mischka, which featured Rumer Willis in a 2011 campaign, and Candie's, whose current spokes model is "Glee" star Lea Michele.

Iconix also helped produce Madonna's and her daughter Lola's 2010 "Material Girl" line for Macys.

It was announced on Monday, January 30 that "The X Factor" judge Nicole Scherzinger and host Steve Jones would not return for the second season of the FOX series.! On Tues day, it was announced that Paula Abdul would also not be returning as a judge.

Simon Cowell had launched a U.S. version of the singing contest show last year, following the success of its British counterpart and after leaving his longtime job on "American Idol," FOX's breakout series that recently began its 11th season and also featured Abdul as one of his co-judges. The two served on the panel with Scherzinger, formerly of the group The Pussycat Dolls, and record executive L.A Reid.

Replacements for the Jones, Scherzinger and Abdul have yet to be announced.
