Nicole Scherzinger flashes some leg as her dress gets lifted in the wind

Nicole Scherzinger narrowly escaped giving fans an x-rated view today as she battled against mother nature.

The former Pussycat Doll was caught in the wind as she stepped out of her car in a cloudy and overcast Liverpool.

The 34-year-old looked amazing in her red dress but, a strong breeze blew through and managed to lift up it slightly, as she attended the X Factor bootcamp.

Nicole's Marilyn Monroe moment almost exposed too much skin, however, the stylish star had a thick short cream underlining to avoid her blushes.

Despite the mishap, the Poison singer looked as impeccable as ever in the extremely low cut rouge frock.

She teamed the light dress with a pair of gold heels and wore a large Chinese coin pendant as part of her necklace.

Nicole has been enjoying her stay in the northern city and is excited about the level of talent she has seen so far at bootcamp.

She tweeted, earlier this week: 'Great week so far at XF boot camp here in Liverpool.

'Its tough but I'm so impressed with the talent here in the UK! Get some rest n let's get to work tomm Xo'.

Nicole was only unveiled last month as the fourth judge on X Factor, but her elaborate wardrobe is already causing headlines as she tries to carve a niche for herself alongside her fellow judges Tulisa Contostavlos, Gary Barlow and veteran Louis Walsh.

She took to twitter to express her delight at landing the much wanted gig, writing: 'I'm so excited to join the UK X Factor family. It's where I got my start, so it feels great to come full circle.

Xtra Factor host Caroline Flack was also spotted showing off her legs in a short skirt as she arrived to continue filming.
