No Jealousy Here! Nicole Scherzinger Is 'Rooting' For Britney Spears On X Factor USA

Former X Factor USA judge Nicole Scherzinger has revealed that she is "rooting" for Britney Spears to take over from her on the show.

All this week reports have suggested that Britney is close to signing a deal that will see her take a seat alongside Simon Cowell and LA. Reid on the panel when the show returns later this year.

Believing that Britney will do well on the panel, Nicole, who controversially replaced Cheryl Cole when the show began last year, told E! News:

"Britney is so bubbly and warm and everyone loves her anyway, so she just has to be herself."

The star, who stepped down from the panel at the same time as Paula Abdul added: "I think that it's something that we can't deny, but there's something about Britney that we... are always rooting for her and behind her no matter what."
