One Direction: 'Our debut album features Nicole Scherzinger anthems'
One Direction have revealed details about their upcoming RedOnecollaborations.
The boyband explained that the Lady GaGa producer has worked on a few songs for their debut album and has given the record its club anthem moments.
Zayn Malik told the Daily Star: "It's anthemic. We can't say that enough times. To work with RedOne was such a big deal. It's more like the sound he created withNicole Scherzinger. Powerful."
Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has also penned a couple of tracks for the album and the five-piece joked they are keen to add him as their sixth member.
Niall Horan said: "Getting to write and record with Ed on our album was an honor. We need a ginger guy in the group. The closest thing we have is an Irish guy, me."
Louis Tomlinson added: "Ed is phenomenal. He's been one of the artists who has blown up in a major way.
"We were surprised by the album because it's more like the calm, acoustic nice guy Ed. I thought he was going to give us more of that 'You Need Me' vibe."
One Direction's as-yet-untitled debut album will be released in the UK on November 21.
The record will be preceded by their second single 'Got To Be You', which will be available to download on November 13.
They recently told Digital Spy that they feared being eaten by crocodiles while filming the single's music video on Lake Placid in New York.
