The Pussycat Dolls Nicole Scherzinger has been attempting to launch a solo career, and a recent demo leak isnt a good start. A demo for Try With Me, written by The Nervo Twins (David Guettas When Love Takes Over), surfaced online this week, and while Scherzinger isnt singing, the track foretells a new sound for the Pussycat Dolls singer. Although details are scant about if Try With Me will appear on the U.S. edition of her debut Killer Love, the track may be the first single from the re-released album in Europe and the third in the U.S.

Scherzinger also appears to be filming the video for the song in Mexico. If you havent had a chance to listen to the demo, hear it here:

Scherzingers first U.S. solo album, Killer Love was recently pushed back to December 6 from November 15, the day Drakes and Florence and the Machines releases hit stores. Killer Love, however, came out in the U.K. in March 2011 and peaked at No. 8, but the singer has a different vision for the U.S. version, which is being re-tooled and will be released again in Europe. She told Rap-Up.com: "At the time I was doing my U.K. album, I was really into more dance-inspired music, which is amazing and so much fun for Europe. For the U.S., I wanted to go back to my roots where I started, a little bit more urban sounding cause thats still a very big part of me as well, and I wanted to make sure I wove that into the album."

To get that sound, the U.S. version of Killer Love has been produced by RedOne, Jim Jonsin, The-Dream, Harvey Mason, Jr., and Tricky Stewart. 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, and Sting are also making guest appearances. About one of the more urban-sounding tracks Peep Show, she said: "I got a song that R. Kelly wrote, which is amazing. Snoops on it. Its called Peep Show and I love it cause it actually reminds me a little bit of the Pussycat Dolls, but its Nicole. Its just a really fun and sassy songa dope song with a great beat. R. Kellys such an unbelievable writer. Its a really hot track I think."

At the moment, Scherzinger is more prominent on television for the U.S. version of X-Factor, rather than her singing. However, another debut album, titled Her Name Is Nicole, was scheduled to come out earlier but, even after 70 tracks were recorded, was scrapped. About her updated debut, the singer and judge said: "Im really proud of this album because I chose a lot of the songs that had to do with me losing myself in a relationship, relationships that Ive had in the past and the process of getting back that strength, and I feel like a lot of people out there can relate to that. But I still keep it sassy."
